Gaite Jansen is considered one of her generation's most outstanding young Dutch acting talents. She can be seen on the HBO/Cinemax show JETT, opposite Carla Gugino, directed by Sebastian Gutierrez. Before this, she played recurring roles on BBC’s PEAKY BLINDERS Season 3 and LINE OF DUTY Season 4.
Her performance as a deaf teenager in the groundbreaking 2011 drama 170HZ earned her nominations for Best Actress at the Seattle Film Festival and the Netherlands Film Festival. SUPERNOVA, in which she plays the lead role, screened in the GENERATIONS competition at the Berlinale.
She played the lead role in THE PRICE OF SUGAR, the opening film of the Netherlands Film Festival in 2013. Apart from her TV and film work, Gaite worked on stage with internationally renowned theatre directors such as Tony-winner Ivo van Hove and Simon Stone.
Currently, she plays on LEOPARD SKIN, a series directed by Sebastian Gutierrez and starring Carla Gugino. BO, her latest feature film, a Dutch arthouse film, was the closing film of the Netherlands Film Festival last year.

Michiel van Erp is an award-winning director of movies, tv series, documentaries and plays. He has been nominated for and won the Prix Europa, Dutch Golden Calfs, Silver Nipkowschijf, and two Dutch Directors Guild Awards. His leading actors have also been recognised for their work on his productions by the International Emmy Awards and the Dutch Golden Calf competition.
Michiel is currently finishing his third feature film, A Beautiful Imperfection, which will be his second English film.
From 1988 until 1992, he worked as an actor. In 1993, he became a director. His award-winning documentary series Long Live…’, about Dutch people and their hopes and desires, ran for seven years on Dutch television. His feature documentary debut, ‘A Funfair behind the Dikes’ (Pretpark Nederland 2007), was a huge success in Dutch cinemas. Many documentaries followed, like 'I am a Woman Now’ (2011), which covers the experiences of the first generation of transsexuals, and 'MH17: A Nation’s Grief’ (2015), which gives an impressive insight into the way the crash of the MH17 in Ukraine affected the lives of the Dutch people.
His drama debut Ramses (2014, drama series) was a huge success and won several (inter-)national awards: e.g., Nipkowschijf (Best TV-program of the year), Prix Europa (Best European Drama series), nominated for BAFTA 2015, winner of DDG Award (Best Director), Best Script of the Year, three TV-Beelden, a Dutch Golden Calf and an International Emmy Award for Best Actor. In 2018 Van Erp’s first feature fiction film, ‘Open Seas’ (Niemand in de Stad), was released. It was nominated for nine Golden Calfs (aka Dutch Oscar). His next drama series, I.M., was broadcast in 2020 and nominated for a Prix Europa. In 2022 his second feature film Stromboli was released.
Dana Nechushtan

Dana Nechushtan graduated in 1994 from the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam. With her graduation film DJINN, she won several awards and even a nomination for a Student Oscar.
She started her career directing the series 20PLUS. Without a pause, IVORY GUARDIANS and DAY NIGHT DARK followed.
TOTAL LOSS (2000) was her first feature film, followed by several award-winning films in the Netherlands and abroad, such as DE BELAGER, NECROCAM, and the TV series DUNYA EN DESIE, which were nominated twice for an Emmy Award and granted leading actress Maryam Hassouni an Emmy award.
The internationally acclaimed feature films NACHTRIT, DUNYA & DESIE and the series ANNIE MG followed.
The 8-part series HOLLANDS HOOP (2013), a crime comedy set in the Dutch countryside, has won several awards and was sold worldwide. As a result, Dana made 3 seasons of this hit series.
Her feature film PIECE OF MY HEART was released in the cinema at the end of 2022, and ELIXER, an eight-part high-end series set in the big pharma arena, will be released in 2023.

The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut
Jan Harlan joined Stanley Kubrick in 1969 for a film on Napoleon, which was unfortunately abandoned. He later was executive producer for all Kubrick films, including The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, and Barry Lyndon. He worked on other unrealised projects with Stanley Kubrick. After Kubrick passing in 1999, he worked with Steven Spielberg on “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” and made documentaries on Stanley Kubrick and actor Malcolm McDowell for Warner Bros.

Nora El Koussour debuted with the leading role in the Toronto International Film Festival selection Layla M. for which she won the Gouden Kalf for Best Actress in 2017.
She starred in successful films such as Marokkaanse Bruiloft (Netflix, 2022), De Belofte van Pisa (2019), and the short films Nervosa, Stuckwitu, and Harmonia and, most recently, Emotional Girl. On television, she has appeared in successful series such as the British series Baghdad Central (disney+) and Mocro Maffia (2018-2021, Videoland).
She is also known for her stage work. Her most recent role was in Emma Watson - The Play, where she
starred as Emma Watson and the celebrated author of twenty books on feminism, activist Rebecca Solnit.

Nazmiye started her acting career in the 90s with series like Baantjer, Combat, Oppassen! and Westenwind. Nazmiye has over 70 credits, including in films and shows like A'dam E.V.A., Moordvrouw, Koppensnellers, High Flyers and in the television film In Vrijheid by Floor van der Meulen, for which she received a Dutch Academy Award (Golden Calf) and Best Actress at the Lucania Film Festival. She was part of VPRO’s Zomergasten 2020 and was a columnist for De Nieuwe Maan and De Gelderlander.
Recent films include Rocco & Sjuul, Summer Brother (Zomervacht) and De Zitting. Recent shows include Bonnie & Clyde, Swanenburg and Sleepers. She impressed everyone with her leading role as Leyla Bulut in the 3rd season of the Netflix hit show Undercover.
She just wrapped up the international blockbuster Den of Thieves 2, in which she plays Chava next to Gerard Butler’s O’Brien.
Simon de Waal
Author/Screenwriter/Director/Crime Detective
Simon de Waal is an author, screenwriter, director and crime detective with the Amsterdam police. He wrote the thrillers Cop vs Killer (2005, Golden Strop nomination) and Pentito (2007, winner Diamanten Kogel, Golden Strop nomination). He also wrote dozens of screenplays for film and TV and won a Golden Calf for the screenplay of Lek, one of the best Dutch crime films ever. In 2016 he published Vector, the gift of the Exciting Book Weeks, and Nemesis, which was also nominated for the Diamond Bullet and the Golden Strop. Nemesis is being adapted into a film for Disney+. In 2019, he published Systema. Simon is the creator and screenwriter of two very successful series in 2023: Het Gouden Uur on NPO and Netflix and Sleepers on Videoland. Several projects are in the pipeline, including the film adaptation of his own thriller Systema.
