Special Guest:

EDDY TERSTALL debuted with his film 'Transit' in 1992. He studied sociology and political science at the University of Amsterdam and wanted to complete a trilogy about death, sexuality and the rule of law before devoting himself to politics. This trilogy began with 'Simon', about the final years of a cancer patient's life, which won four Golden Calves. It was followed in 2007 by 'SEXtet', an ingeniously interwoven plot of several stories and characters dealing with love and relationships in Amsterdam. 'Vox Popoli' completed the trilogy, in 2008.
Terstall’s first collaboration with Erik Wünsch resulted in 'Meet me in Venice', World Cinema Award at Woodstock Film Festival for Best Foreign Film and Best Actress in a Leading Role (Roberta Petzoldt).
Their second collaboration is Eddy’s upcoming film: 'Alberta'. This humorous reflection on the phenomenon of the midlife crisis, will have its world première at the Nederlands Film Festival on September 26th.
